Longman & Eagle and Old Style are pleased to announce What’s Happening!!, an outdoor dance party and pig roast featuring the Windy City Soul Club deejays. As a ‘thank you’ to a neighboring community that has been so very supportive, the L&E – on Sunday, September 4th – will be hosting a free, outdoor block party, from four to ten pm, on Schubert, at Kedzie, adjacent to our building. Open to all, the event will feature dancing, drinks, food and music in an outdoor street setting, as well as offering normal indoor and outdoor drinking and eating options in the L&E proper, as we normally do.
Our friends at Jettison Quarterly will also be hanging out and giving out copies of their new issue.
Additionally, guests staying upstairs with us from Sunday, September 4th to Saturday, September 10th will receive a free, limited cassette tape mix curated by Windy City Soul Club deejay Benjamin Piriani. Give the mix a listen HERE.
